Charleston Pride Festival Pride Committee
The Pride Committee is comprised of the Board of Directors in its entirety and additional members from the community that the Board feels would be beneficial to the success of Charleston Pride. While the Board of Directors is largely responsible for the daily operations and general direction of Charleston Pride Festival, the Pride Committee's primary role is to craft the best events and best Pride possible for the Charleston community. In order to achieve this goal, the Board of Directors appoints individuals to the Pride Committee who present unique skills, insight, and an passionate attitude towards LGBT issues. Committee members may be selected to head subcommittees within the general committee to address specific issues or events. Committee members are appointed for one year.
