Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is formed from five permanent positions, including Chairperson, Vice Chair of Operations, Vice Chair of Outreach, Secretary of the Board, and Treasurer, which form the Executive Board, and up to four additional directorship positions which are created and removed at the discretion of the Executive Board. Elections are held at the beginning of every fiscal year to fill the Executive Board. The newly elected Executive Board is then responsible for creating the additional director-level positions to assist in the management and administration of Charleston Pride Festival.

Rob Lewis
Chairman Of The Board
Elected: July 2012
Rob studied at the University of South Carolina. Rob has served as Chairman of the Board of Charleston Pride Festival, Inc. during Charleston Pride 2012 and 2013. During Charleston Pride 2011, Rob served as Treasurer and Director of Communications. Rob comes to Charleston Pride with diverse and unique background with nonprofit organizations, including working with Habitat For Humanity, Bear Hunt, and volunteering with various LGBT organizations in and around Charleston.
Tony Williams
Vice Chair Of Operations

Tony is a magna cum laude graduate of the College of Charleston and holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Russian Studies. Tony has served on the planning committees of every Charleston Pride festival since its inception. During Charleston Pride 2010, he fulfilled the role of Park Liaison During Charleston Pride 2011, Tony served as the Vendor Coordinator. Tony also served as Secretary of the Board during Charleston Pride 2012.
Trevor Donovan
Vice Chair Of Outreach
Elected: July 2012
Trevor is a graduate of Clemson University. Trevor started DJing at a very young age and has worked with most LGBT bar owners and LGBT organizations and charities in Charleston during his career. Trevor co-founded several other LGBT groups, including Takeover Charleston, a monthly social gathering of the LGBT community in Charleston, which has grown to include hundreds of individuals. Before Takeover Charleston, Trevor was the founder of CHAMP.
Laney Turner
Secretary Of The Board
Elected: July 2012
Laney is a graduate of Wesleyan College. Her background is in education, and prior to joining the Board of Directors for Charleston Pride, she was the secretary of her College Activities Board. Laney originally volunteered with Charleston Pride during the 2012 festival shortly after moving to Charleston. She enjoyed her experience and became a successful candidate for Secretary Of The Board during the next election. Laney also serves as the volunteer coordinator of Charleston Pride.

Drayton Charles
Treasurer

Drayton is a graduate of Trident College with a concentration in Business Management. Drayton serves as the Treasurer of Charleston Pride Festival, Inc. He comes to Charleston Pride with a variety of volunteer and Board experience, including local school districts. He served as the Assistant Director for the Barnwell School District and the Head of Admissions. Additionally, Drayton comes to the Board of Directors as a previous volunteer for Charleston Pride.
Kevin Hollenbeck
Director Of Sponsorships / Advertising
Elected: February 2013
Kevin is a native Charlestonian. He studied at the International School of Hamburg, and later he graduated from Georgia Southern University. After graduating from Georgia Southern, Kevin worked for many years at Lincoln Harris before retiring and transitioning into commercial real estate. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors as the Director Of Sponsorships / Advertising and handles advertisements for the annual Pride Guide distribution as well as sponsorships.
Kellan Kirby
Director Of Photography / Videography
Elected: April 2013
Kellan is a Charleston native. He is a graduate of Trident College with a degree in Computer Science. Kellan serves as the Director Of Photography / Videography for Charleston Pride Festival, Inc. He is the co-owner of a local photography company and is the official photographer for all Charleston Pride events, fundraisers, and functions. Kellan comes to Charleston Pride with great technical and photography experience as well as volunteer experience.
Chase Glenn
Director Of Parade Development
Elected: December 2012
Chase is a graduate of Belmont University, as well as having received his master's degree in counseling from Webster University. He is a graphics designer and designed the South Carolina Equality license plate. While he has traditionally served only as the editor of the Charleston Pride Guide, beginning with Charleston Pride 2013, Chase has become a full-fledged member of the Board Of Directors. In addition to his responsibilities as the Pride Guide editor, Chase is now the director of the parade planning committee.
