Register to be involved in the Charleston Pride Festival Parade!
The Parade will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013, beginning at 9:00 am.
The parade will start on Ann Street and continue down King Street to Broad Street. Floats and parade participants will disband at Colonial Lake. The rally will take place on the shores of Charleston Harbor at Brittlebank Park, beginning at 11:00 am.
Do you or your organization wish to take part in the Charleston Pride Festival Parade? The Parade will be taking place August 3rd, 2013 in historic downtown Charleston on King Street. By participating in the Parade, you and your organization demonstrate your commitment to equality and the advancement of LGBT rights. Additionally, the parade is a great fun and unique way in which to advertise your organization to thousands of people from across many regions.
Fees
The standard fee for vehicle/float entries is $25.00. The standard fee for a walking entry is $15.00. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for any entry registering after July 1, 2013. Entries are automatically eligible for cash prizes including $100.00 for best vehicle/float entry and $50.00 for best walking entry. For your convenience, you can register your entry online and pay all fees, through PayPal, by completing the form below.
All LGBT uniform public servants, including, but not limited to, military personnel, police officers, and firefighters, are encouraged to participate in the parade and will be included at no cost.
