Parade Route Begin:
- Durant Avenue @ North Charleston Elementary
- Participants will proceed up Durant to the traffic circle
- Parade will then follow circle southwest towards East Montague Avenue, turning left down East Montague.
- Participants will then follow East Montague through the business district to Virginia Avenue where the parade will conclude.*
End: Virginia Avenue @ Avenue B *(Participants in vehicles will continue to proceed down Noisette Blvd to Riverfront via the Navy Shipyard. Participants on foot will board shuttles provided by Charleston Pride Festival either directly to the park grounds or to their vehicles at the start of the parade route.)
Participants in vehicles and on floats will be directed to temporary parking once they have reached the park grounds. Those requiring transportation back to their vehicles at the start of the parade will have shuttle service available to them. There will be markers directing the way to the beginning of the parade line up and parking along Durant Avenue.
Shuttles:
All shuttles will be running on a 15-20 min. Schedule for pick up and drop off to and from the park from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m
Directions From:
Downtown Charleston
-I-26
West to Montague Avenue exit. (merge into right hand turn lane) At the
traffic light, turn right onto Montague Avenue, heading EAST.
-Follow East
Montague passing the CVS on the left TURN RIGHT onto Old Park Road or
Park Place.
-Follow to Durant Avenue Turn RIGHT onto Durant Avenue.
Mt. Pleasant
-526 West (Mark Clark Expressway) to North Rhett Avenue EXIT 19 Turn RIGHT onto North Rhett Avenue.
-Turn LEFT onto Marquis Road or Park Place and follow to Durant Avenue.
-Turn LEFT onto Durant AVE.
Summerville/Goose Creek
-I-26 East to Charleston I-526 (Exit 212B-C) toward Savannah/Mt. Pleasant Merge onto I-526 East via exit 212-C on the left toward Mt. Pleasant.
-Take the North Rhett Avenue EXIT 19 Turn RIGHT onto N RHETT AVE.
-Turn LEFT onto Marquis Road or Park Place and follow to Durant Avenue.
-Turn LEFT onto Durant AVE.
Directions to Riverfront Park from Downtown/Mt. Pleasant/West Ashley/Savannah:
-I-26 West to Cosgrove EXIT 216B Cosgrove Ave to SPRUILL AVE.
-Turn LEFT on Spruill Ave Spruill Ave to McMILLAN AVE.
-Turn RIGHT on McMillan (there will be an Exxon in front of you, a Payless on the far left).
-Follow McMillan onto the Navy Shipyard to N. HOBSON AVE.
-LEFT on N Hobson Ave. Follow the road signs to Riverfront Park, EVERGLADES AVE.
